Orange County Brewers

Orange County Brewers is Orlando’s only craft brewery located downtown. There are 9 beers on draft and 3 guest beers. Located inside of Orange County Brewers is Pizza Bruno, offering wood fired pizza to take out or enjoy in the taproom.

Broken Strings Brewery

Broken Strings Brewery merged with Black Cauldron Brewery to create Broken Cauldron Taproom. Broken Strings Brewery uses more hops, while Black Cauldron Brewery favors malts. There is outdoor seating, a large taproom, and board games. Note: the location no longer serves food.
We recommend the unique Joliet Blueberry Milkshake IPA with blueberries, vanilla, and lactose, and Penny Lane Strawberry Blonde. This blonde ale with strawberries beer might knock our all time favorite strawberry blonde from Border Brewing Company in Kansas City out of first place!

Brew Theory Brewery

Brew Theory Brewery is opening soon. Holding a soft opening in March, this brewery should have operating house soon.

Ten 10 Brewing Company

We give Ten 10 Brewing Company a score of 10/10. We recommend the Banchee Day Spa, a dry Irish stout with cassis, and our favorite, the Sundae Best, a Neapolitan brown ale with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
The menu is limited, but the smoked items are prepared on the Big Green Egg, and we were so impressed by the Smoked Wings tossed in homemade buffalo sauce we placed a second order.

Dead Lizard Brewing Company

Dead Lizard Brewing is named after dead lizard found in a yard in the shape of their logo, the center of a yin-yang, representing zen and serendipity. We recommend the Jalapeno Citrus Cream-Sic-Ale, a cream ale with a kick. Visiting on a Friday, the brewery had live music in the large taproom, complimentary popcorn, and a game room.

Duff Brewery

Duff Brewery beer garden located in Universal Studios opens every day at 11:00am. There are 2 beers on draft: lite and dark.

The Traveling Gingerbread is a place for us to share budget travel tips for people with full time jobs, fun facts, itineraries, and where to find the best craft beer. We have been traveling together since 2013. Living and working full-time in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we travel as much as our vacation days and finances allow. We cram each adventure with activities, tours, experiences, and local breweries. We can't walk by an Irish pub without stopping in for a pint of Guinness. In 2019, we brewed our first beer and were hooked, although, we have no intentions of brewing more than small batches.
