We will hav 20 h to spend in Doha with to teenagers and I think this will be a good place to stay in for a cuple of houers, at least 6 h.

Great information! (Way better than the Doha airport website.)

I am at the Oryx Lounge right now … December 26th, 2023 (7:04 p.m. Doha time) … after a 13+ hour flight from Miami, Florida (USA)

The cost of admission is QAR 270 (about 75 USD).

I’ve been to this airport several times in the past few years. I have always gone to another lounge using the Priority Pass program or because I was flying business class.

Looking forward to the amenities at the Oryx Lounge. First stop, a nice shower then, I’ll have dinner followed by a nap before my next flight leaves in 7+ hours.

Hi, I saw you posted twice so I will delete the other one. I visited there a couple of years ago but I doubt it has changed. I did not need any visa. A lot of countries require you to clear their immigration and customs area even if you are not leaving the airport when you have to change planes. Once I had a stop in Moscow for 2 hrs and had to get off the plane with all my bags, run them through a scanner and go through immigration, where they asked a bunch of questions just to sit in a secure area and get back on the same plane.
