I read your GREAT artical. Very informative. I love fried chicken livers, not really fond of the gizards, but don’t find them distasteful.
Now call me slow but I never could pick u on WHAT they taste like?
Well I can tell you what they don’t taste like. And that’s good to know, cuz I’ve had venison and wasn’t impressed.! “They tell me to blame that on the chef”.
So in closing, great read. You achieved a goal for me.! You made me want to try um.

I lived in Colorado and never worked up the courage. Still don’t know if I could do it. I once went to the Gilroy Garlic Festival. That was easier to taste in all its forms.
