I recently turned down lunch at The White House. Not that I didn’t want to go but I had just eaten 15 minutes earlier.
Now this White House is in Kosovo not Washington DC. We were on a quick day trip to Prizren, a town in Kosovo near the Albanian border and had eaten at a mountain top restaurant and were on our way down the other side when we came upon The White House.
Flying the US flag and built in the same style as the one at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue the restaurant seemed somewhat out of place on the side of this mountain in Kosovo. But I hear the food is pretty good. Next trip to Prizren I may just try it out.

Not sure. I didn’t go. If it is like most around there then grilled meats, fish, various salads probably typical Albanian type fare. I will find out next time I head that direction.

Looks like an awesome place to eat. I’ll bet it was a great setting.
From talking to some people it is a pretty good place. They also have 3 cabins out back by the river you can rent for overnight stays.

Well we should have, but we were headed to another town and already had wasted a lot of the day stopping and looking at things. I will be back that way one day in the future and will make a point of stopping in. Who knows maybe I can get a Presidential ashtray or something.
