Just came back from Shreveport last week from a brief visit from Los Angeles. Liked it.
Two years prior, did the same thing. While there, visited the Jim Reeves memorial in not-too-far-away Carthage, Tx,, and the Country Music museum, just up the road.
Liked very much the slow-paced life there than the rowdiness in LA, not Louisiana, in abbreviation, but Los Angeles, CA
Hope to continue my brief visits and may be find a place of abode there in Shreveport.

This is such a great post, Bob! I had heard of Shreveport but never really knew anything about it. The riverboat casinos sound SO interesting, and the food….delicious. Sounds like a fun place to visit!

I’ve never been to Louisiana but I’ve heard some amazing things about it. Plus that food looks and sounds incredible!! If I ever way make way to Louisiana, I’ll be sure to stop by Shreveport!!
