Fair enough. I’m happy to back down, but they may have a signage issue.

The Hellcat was a (very good) single seat US naval fighter with wings that folded backwards. What you have in the photo is a two-seater, with dive brakes, a bomb bay, and wings that fold up. A quick search on Google images for the Hellcat & the Helldiver will show the difference.

According to the museum it is a Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat built in 1944 and saw service with the US Navy in WW2 currently on loan from Comanche Fighters LLC
